Clean & punchy vintage transformer sound for engineers and players who want great sound but also want to nerd out with many extra features. This is our premium direct box.

Circuit topology:

Combo vintage UTC transformers (reverse engineered) and full voltage/current solid-state using an outboard bipolar power supply brick. Input impedance selectable, 10M ohm with load off; trimmable 2.2M ohm to 100k ohm with load on (load on and off is a front panel button, trim is on the rear).

What sets it apart from other Dis:

It has a hard bypass insert for pedals and a pro send & return insert with controls (easily turns any pro gear into a pedal!). Both inserts can be selected using the front panel button or a foot switch. It has a dry signal through control. It has three outputs: +4dB transformer-less balanced line out, mic level balanced transformer isolated out, and single-ended instrument level transformer isolated out.

Where it shines:

Bass and guitar! Re-amping with simultaneous Direct and re-amping, and no mic-pre needed. Allows you to turn any piece of professional gear into a guitar pedal!
