Custom Cables Included with Gear Purchases
Did you know you get free custom cables when you buy gear from Pro Audio LA (a few exceptions apply). We hand-build our custom cables and snakes using the highest quality components available. Generally, our cables are built from Mogami, Gotham, Grimm, Canare, & Evidence Audio cabling and hand-soldered with Neutrik connectors. Shipping Policies
We generally ship orders domestically via FedEx 2-Day including tracking information. We have found this to be the most-reliable shipping method. Size restrictions on this FedEx service require that we use UPS Ground for items that don't fit into the boxes FedEx provides for the 2-day shipping program. We also offer UPS Ground as a shipping option at checkout for shipments within the USA. If you prefer an alternative shipping method, please contact us, and we can quote you a price for your desired shipping method.
Order Modifications
Our order fulfillment process is very precise and organized to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and within the timeframes indicated in our order confirmation email. Because our manufacturing procedures are so precise, any requests for changes to orders (cable details, for example) or requests to combine orders (to save on shipping charges etc.) will incur a $10 administrative fee to help us keep our prices as low as possible. While these requests may seem simple from the customer's side, the nature of custom manufacturing is such that these changes require substantial legwork to ensure all requested changes are handled with accuracy. We ask customers who need their orders modified to pay this $10 fee to cover the administrative time involved so that all our customers can enjoy everyday low prices on our handmade products.
Order Processing Times
Most small custom cable orders are processed in a 5-business-day timeframe. Larger orders are processed on a case by case basis dependent on the size of the order and the number of orders currently in our order queue. Custom cable orders are manufactured in the order in which they are received unless specific expediting arrangements are made and the associated fees paid. If you need to check on the status of your order, please contact us via email or phone. We work as efficiently as possible without compromising quality, and our turnaround times are generally faster than other custom cable shops.
All our work (custom handmade cabling built in our facility) is guaranteed for life for components and workmanship. Just hold onto your receipt as your proof of purchase, and if anything ever goes wrong with a cable built by Pro Audio LA, LLC, we will repair it free of charge. This does not apply to merchandise that we determine has been misused or damaged. Please note that this limited warranty extends only to the original purchaser. Customer is responsible for shipping to our location for any warranty repair or service. Pro Audio LA will cover return shipping to your location. Please make sure to obtain an RMA # prior to any return to ensure a smooth process.
Returns, refunds, and exchanges must be requested via email within 10 days of receipt of your order. Please contact us at Info@ProAudioLA.com to arrange for a return authorization. No returns or exchanges will be accepted without written authorization in writing including an return authorization number.

As our work is custom built to order, there is a 25-40% restocking fee applied to any returns or exchanges. Common configurations of custom cables, when returned to us in the same condition as when originally shipped, will incur a 25% restocking fee. Less-common configurations, or cables returned to us without being carefully wrapped/packaged are subject to a restocking fee of 40%. A 25% fee also applies to any requests to cancel orders that are already being manufactured. These restocking policies are necessary in order to help keep our everyday pricing as affordable as possible.
We accept payments via Credit Card, Money Order, Bank Wire Transfer, Certified Checks, and in some cases personal checks. All payments must clear in full before orders are shipped. A 50% deposit is required at minimum for large-scale orders before any manufacturing can begin with the balance due before orders can be shipped. As such, Credit Card payments are generally the fastest way to get orders processed and out the door. We accept cash for local sales in the Los Angeles area. Invoices/Receipts are provided with all purchases. Hold onto your receipts as they are your proof of purchase in the event you have warrantee issues in the future.
