Because we want to get you the right equipment to fit your needs, we're always happy to provide our clients a free consultation. One of our seasoned engineers can go over your needs, get to know a little about your setup, and take the time to understand how you want to work in the studio. With a little background we can be sure to provide you with our most confident recommendations and orient you as to the reasons why.
IN-STUDIO DEMONSTRATIONS
With a fully-equipped studio facility in Los Angeles (nestled in Atwater Village near Silver Lake), Pro Audio LA is a unique environment where you can demo products and "try before you buy." By appointment only, we enjoy having our clients come by our studio to conduct a mic shootout, test out preamps and compressors, take a spin on the Rupert Neve Designs 5088 console, or acquaint themselves with a properly integrated studio. Having the opportunity to work with one of our professional engineers in a private one-on-one environment means you can decide on the equipment that resonates most with you and make an educated purchase. Who knows, the mic that sounds best for your application might just cost half of what you had budgeted for.
As well, we're more than happy to schedule a demo at your facility if it's what you'd prefer. Whether you're after a mic, a new set of converters, or even a set of studio monitors, sometimes you just need to try them in your own space to make a decision. We're even happy to set up a loan of a piece of gear for you if you'd like to evaluate a piece for a few days. We'll help you get what you need.
INSTALLATION & INTEGRATION
Pro Audio LA sets itself apart from other stores because we're the only one who has an in-house cable shop and integration team. Every day we make custom Mogami cables in our shop. What this means is that when you do business with us, you will be getting a turn-key solution that includes all the proper cabling, patchbays, and gear you need from one trusted seller. No more buying your gear in one place and looking for cables somewhere else. We'll help you get connected with the right cables in custom lengths and configurations to fit your setup like a glove.
If you're interested in having us do on-site work for you, we're more than happy to. While most stores outsource installation work to contractors who tend to be real oddballs, Pro Audio LA handles all installation work in-house with a team of skilled engineer/technicians. We will solder on-site to terminate some cabling run through conduits, we'll hook up your patchbay, label it, and even take the time to acquaint you with how your setup works and provide some training to get you up and running confidently.
FREE SHIPPING
With a few rare exceptions, all gear ships free via UPS/FedEx Ground within the continental US. If you need something fast, we're happy to arrange expedited shipping for you -- just pay the difference for the upgrade. Cable orders over $500 also qualify for free UPS/FedEx Ground shipping (within the continental US only). In some cases gear and cables will ship separately, but we'll always keep you updated and be sure to get you tracking information in a timely manner. For international shipping, we offer reasonable rates through FedEx as well.
Please keep in mind that in some cases we are prohibited from selling gear internationally. Just give us a call if you're unsure whether something you're interested in can be shipped outside the US. Also keep in mind that unless special arrangements have been made, gear will generally be configured for 110-120 Volt power outlets as found in the United States.
