THREE WAY SYSTEM
(2) Two-way vertical main monitor cabinets loaded with two 12” LF drivers and one 4’’ high compression driver with beryllium diaphragm on a full-sized Augspurger-designed rock maple wood horn.
(2) S212-D12 subwoofer cabinets with two 12” sub drivers each.
(2) SXE-3D three-way Class D networkable amplifiers (2500W, 1000W & 250W) with Active DSP providing crossover, limiting, driver alignment and system equalization & control software, rack-mounted 2U.
For those customers who do not have the space for our full-sized DUO15-V system Augspurger designed the DUO12-V. This compact footprint studio reference monitor system is ideal for tracking, mixing, mastering and theater/screening room applications. The Duo12-V features Augspurger’s full-sized horn allowing it to fill larger spaces and longer listening distances while still filling the smallest footprint possible.
The dual-woofer D’Appolito driver arrangement above and below the horn allow for efficient coupling while further controlling vertical dispersion, reducing unwanted secondary room reflections and putting more direct energy into the working space.
The Duo12-V may be enhanced with a single or double 12” or 18” LF extension cabinets, which will extend LF to 20 Hz (room dependent) and increase overall output to levels approaching our larger main monitoring systems.
There’s no need to compromise on dynamics when choosing the Duo 12-V. With over 3500 W/Chl powering your system, you get the robust dynamic output and detailed clarity expected from larger Augspurger systems with a more manageably compact footprint, whether free-standing or flush-mounted.
