Description

The WesAudio NG76 FET Compressor is a high-end analog compressor designed for professional audio engineers and producers. Built to deliver the classic lightning-speed compression style based on WesAudio's Beta76 design, the NG76 FET offers the added benefit of digital recall.

Product Features:
  • 100% analog FET (1176-style) compressor with 24 dBu of headroom
  • Classic lightning speed compression style based on WesAudio Beta76 design
  • Full Total Recall and plug-in control compatible with most DAWs
  • Classic FET style compressor controls including INPUT, OUTPUT, ATTACK, RELEASE, and additional MIX knob for parallel compression
  • Carnhill Transformers (input and output)
  • Saturation mode featuring one knob which sets INPUT and OUTPUT in an opposite way while keeping the compression circuit disabled (this allows the unit to be used as a saturation box/clipper)
  • Four ratio settings including 4:1 / 8:1 / 12:1 / 20:1 (all combinations possible including ALL button mode)

Compatible with most DAWs, the NG76 FET plug-in makes it easy to save and recall settings, making it a must-have for studios with multiple engineers and producers who need to switch between different projects and settings.

The NG76 compressor also comes with classic FET style compressor controls, including INPUT, OUTPUT, ATTACK, RELEASE, and an additional MIX knob for parallel compression. Just like the original 1176, the NG76 compressor offers four ratio settings, including 4:1, 8:1, 12:1, and 20:1, as well as the classic ALL BUTTONS IN setting. This mode allows for a combination of all ratios, which can create unique compression effects.

In addition to classic Carnhill transformers on the input and output, Saturation mode allows you to dial in a wide range of tones from clean to clipping. Plus, Saturation mode can even be used while the compreission circuit is disabled, essentially turning the NG76 into a dedicated hardware saturation device.
