The API 1608-II 16-Channel Console (unloaded) delivers all the pristine, high-headroom analog character of an API console in a compact package. It features 16 individual channels—each equipped with API’s acclaimed 548C mic preamp and equalizer—plus 8 auxiliary sends, 8 summing buses, 4 stereo returns, a stereo bus, and 16 channel faders (with optional Final Touch automation) for streamlined analog workflows. Every channel supports external 500-Series modules, and the master section provides full center-section control with analog VU metering and flexible I/O routing.
