In 2.5-way mode, this studio monitor boasts a 45Hz–40Hz frequency response via its 6.5-inch woofers and 1-inch tweeter. When you switch over to Focus mode, Twin6 exhibits a 110Hz–10kHz frequency response from the woofers alone. A Focal hallmark is the inverted-dome tweeter — and it's a big part of the magic behind Twin6's amazing performance. The particular advantage of the inverted dome is that it optimizes the mechanical coupling between the voice coil and the dome. As the voice coil is fixed at mid-height on the dome, it can uniformly move Twin6's entire cone surface.
