The modular design of the B80 Mothership allows for any type of situation to be realized. For mix engineers who need many quality outputs, without having to spend their money on inputs which they don't need, you can fill a Mothership with BDA8s to use in conjunction with large format consoles or summing mixers. This Mothership features 6 BDA8 output modules, featuring the proprietary class-A BOPA14 opamps for ultimate clarity, imaging and depth. To capture the mix back in, the BAD4M features two optional AD circuit paths, switching between Burl's renown, extremely linear BX1 input transformer with incredibly high headroom, or the same proprietary BOPA14 found in the BDA8. The BDA4M is Burl Audio's Mastering grade output card which can be used for monitoring and mastering, featuring an option to use the BX5 output transformer (also found in Burl Audio's B32 Vancouver Mix Bus). When monitoring, it's best to bypass the BX5. The BAES4 card gives 4 channels of AES/EBU in and out.
