The secret to the RNDI-8's gargantuan sound rests in its custom-designed transformers and Class A, discrete FET input amplifiers. The RNDI-8's discrete input amplifiers are powered by 48V phantom power, and they create a high-impedance input of over 2Mohms, ensuring consistent performance with a full range of instruments. Beyond that, the amplifiers' Class A design safeguards against crossover distortion, which can inject unwanted upper-order odd harmonics into your signal.
