1 of 5 Unit stopped working after 24 hrs June 10, 2020
Reviewer: Andrew from Connecticut
Worked as advertised day 1. Despite perfectly normal circumstances, the unit simply no longer turned on when I plugged it back in the following day.

Used supplied power adaptor and official apple thunderbolt cord with the thunderbolt to USB-C adapter (an additional $80 as apogee does not supply any cords with the unit) on an early 2019 iMac and 2020 MBP.

It sucks to have a taste of pure excellence only to have it ripped away. I cannot deny the excellent quality I experienced when I tested it the first night. Still, It would have been less rage-inducing if it never worked to begin with.

I could not find any 3rd party forum on the internet and had 0 ability to compare, and self diagnose/fix my issue. Every exhausting keyword I would google would result in the same unhelpful FAQ page, company tutorial youtube video, or some tec magazine review site.

Appogee only troubleshooting for  "My unit won't turn on" is: "make sure you are not plugging into a "Mini Display Port."
