sE Electronics Instrument Reflexion Filter

The sE Electronics Instrument Reflexion Filter is a similar design to the the Reflexion Filter Pro. It's half-moon design "cups" the microphone providing isolation from room ambiance and interfering sound sources. Its metal outer shell is punched with holes, and the inside is covered with 3 pieces of acoustic material with an air gab behind them. The IRF has a hole through the middle to allow a small thin mic, such as an SM57 or pencil condenser, to fit through. This is particularly useful when close micing drums to help with isolation of signals or overhead micing.
